Bruno Fagali is Charting the Future of Brazilian Law

Creating and running a law firm is a momentous task. It requires hard work, unwavering dedication and, above all, consistency. Managing the firm becomes even more challenging where one is also engaged in a corporate role. While combining such duties is considered a risky engagement, there are those few who do it and go on to excel at both, as is the case with Brazilian lawyer, Bruno Fagali. Mr. Fagali currently doubles up as the Corporate Integrity Manager at Nova/sb and also runs his own law firm, the Fagali law firm.

Passionate about the law from quite a young age, Bruno Fagali graduated with a law degree from Pontifical University (PUC), Sao Paulo. Additionally, he was just recently awarded a master’s degree in State Law at the University of Sao Paulo.

Bruno Fagali’s prominence largely stems from his contribution at Nova/sb. The organization is a large advertising agency based in Brazil. While the company is highly profitable, a significant portion of its revenue is sourced from administrative contracts. To avoid the numerous pitfalls associated with transacting with the government, Nova saw it fit to create a corporate integrity plan. The most suitable individual to undertake this task was seen to be Bruno Fagali, and he soon joined the company as the corporate integrity manager. He has since gone on to create a plan that acts as an effective guideline on what Nova employees can and cannot do in their external engagements.

Bruno Fagali created the Fagali law firm in 2014. Having previously worked at two law firms coupled with the experience he continued to gain at Nova, he felt that it was the right time to venture on his own. The law firm is based in Sao Paulo and offers both litigation services and advisory services. It particularly specializes in the areas of administrative law, urban law, compliance, regulatory law, and ethics. With the firm’s client base growing every year and Bruno Fagali’s reputation only continuing to grow, the firm is well on its way to become a force to be reckoned with in the Brazilian legal industry.
